Real Madrid – current performances

The Spanish title race has been an intriguing contest played out between the two Spanish giants; Barcelona being one of the best club sides ever, and a Real Madrid side blessed with a depth of talent to rival any team they’ve ever pitched.  It’s a contest embodied by some of the games greatest ever players and there’s an inclination to view the battle as the Messi v Ronaldo show.  

Madrid stretched their lead to 10 points this weekend and despite the recent 3-1 reverse against their Catalan rivals, they look firm favourites to regain the title.  The opportunity to purchase Madrid tickets could be timely indeed as they look set to reassert themselves.

Following defeat against Barcelona at the start of December, it looked as though Real may fail to impose their authority at the top of La Liga with many pundits predicting collapse.  The good news for Real fans is that Mourinho’s team have shown the character and nerve to reinforce their position at the top of the table by scoring an emphatic eleven goals in two games.

Real’s promising form began with a resounding 6-2 drubbing of Sevilla in which Ronaldo scored a characteristic hat trick.  In a strange repeat of last season’s score line Di Maria, Callijon and Altintop also made the score sheet.  To watch Ronaldo is fitting of the cliché ‘worth the entrance fee alone’, and Madrid tickets allow you exactly this privilege.

While Real’s form in El Classico may be consistently inferior to Barca’s, Real’s league form in general is far more emphatic.  There’s a high possibility that Real could lose both encounters to Barca but still emerge with the title.  Madrid tickets should prove to be a precious commodity in coming months so if you plan to visit one of Europe’s most prestigious football grounds, now is an ideal time.
